Jeordon and Bobby were married last August at the Bridgeport Art Center Skyline Loft on the southwest side of Chicago. Their elegant taste shined throughout their day: with their acrylic signage, classic floral scheme, and stylish neon accent sign, their wedding was incredibly thoughtful and perfectly showcased their love for each other. Erin Hoyt Photography captured the day beautifully, and we’re excited to share some of the photos below!
A perfect match!
Jeordon + Bobby found out about A Fresh Event through their venue, Bridgeport Art Center, which happens to be one of our favorite venues to work in! They proudly proclaimed themselves to be foodies and very organized — we soon saw that they had superb taste and were just super excited to be married to each other. If that’s not an AFE couple, we don’t know who is! Jeordon was looking for coordination service but also knew that she needed a little extra help: especially with securing the rest of their vendor team and having task lists each month to help keep them on track. Jen happily put together a custom package specifically for them and their needs. This also allowed Jen to get to know the couple even better through the last few months of planning , which always makes the day that much more special.
And did this couple have great taste or what? Their day was stunning and uniquely beautiful!
In Jeordon and Bobby’s words:
“We are so thankful for the AMAZING services Jen and her team provided us. We were stress-free on our wedding day and it’s because of Jen… She was by our side the entire day- making sure we ate, ensured everyone was where they needed to be, coordinated with all of our vendors and made sure we never had an empty glass throughout the evening. She had every detail taken care of in terms of who would be taking our gifts/cards home, packing up our things and sending us back to the hotel with no worries at all. Not only did she make sure we were taken care of, she made sure our families were as well … Words can’t thank her enough for everything she has done for us!” (Read more reviews on The Knot!)
Small Touches We Loved:
- Jeordon and Bobby were excited about their food and decided to have so much fun with their choices, especially at cocktail hour.
- The ceremony and reception were anchored by beautiful chandeliers and trees in planters, which were highlighted by amber uplighting in the evening. We loved that these elements were able to seamlessly transition between different parts of the event!
- We loved their timeless green and white color palette with modern accents: incorporating acrylic elements and a custom neon sign on a boxwood accent wall, their wedding was a perfect “classic meets modern” loft soirée.
- They had a full-size, multi-tier donut cake. Need we say more?
Happy anniversary, Jeordon & Bobby! We wish you many happy years to come!
